We are happy to announce that Captain Abiy Makonnen has joined AvDyne Aero Services LLC as the New Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). He holds a degree in Aviation Management from Mountain View College. An FAA Certified Airline Transport Pilot, Simulator Instructor, and Type Rated in the Boeing 737 a highly skilled Commercial Pilot/ C- level Leader who draws on his 30 years of extensive knowledge of the Aviation Industry in Leadership and Operational experience
Abiy has led numerous worldwide businesses, corporate projects, and Leadership Seminars to Aviation Academy, Civil Aviation Authority, and MRO services, introducing tools and technology for the airline industry. Abiy has Several Executive C-level Leadership and operations training by General Motors and Toyota. He has conducted free workshops mentoring over 5000 youth for personal and professional growth locally and in Africa. For his continuous mission trips, involvement, and donations over the last 22 years, Abiy has been recognized and honored as Hero of the year for Stream of Hope Africa. This international organization has transformed villages with clean water wells in Africa. As our Chief Commercial Officer Capt. Abiy will be responsible for the integration and expansion of AvDyne ‘s interest especially on the African Continent.
